Bear with baby...with removable head for hours of entertainment. The lady who bought the poor broken bear shared with us how she fixes stuff like this by stuffing cotton into the broken areas and then gluing it. Somehow it makes it look brand new. I can't fully envision how it works but I trust her. :)
My best sale:
Mine were not this nice looking. They were old and beat up and discolored. A guy drove up and did some curb shopping. He asks "How much do you want for the skates?"...I didn't have a price but thought maybe a dollar or two. But instead I felt like asking "How much do you want to give me for them?" He shrugged and said "$10?"...$10??! Absolutely! I have no idea why these old skates were worth that to him, but he must have some secret to skate restoration. I'm glad they are in good hands because I didn't especially want to part with them - they were just too heavy for my little feet.It was a fun day...Yard sales create a great atmosphere for fellowship.
