Carpe Diem is in the Bible! :)
I was reading my Bible last night (Message Version) and this was what I stumbled upon:
"Jesus said, 'no procrastination. No backward looks. You can't put God's Kingdom off til tomorrow. SEIZE THE DAY'"

There is a saying that if you are not living one day at a time, then you have one foot in tomorrow, one foot in yesterday, and you're peeing on today.
I doubt that's in the Message Bible, hope it wasn't too crude.
